What is UberWorld?
UberWorld is a multi-user realtime talk program. In other words, lots of people connect to it and chat. Its not that hard really.
UberWorld is actually text based. This will come as a shock to a lot of you who are probably used to the graphical likes of AOL, Yahoo!, ICQ and MSN.
You have to connect using telnet and type commands in (such as say, tell, think and emote) to get your message across to others. Pissed up 1st year university students can manage it easily enough, so it isn't exactly rocket science.
The best thing about it being text based is that it immediately puts off the dumb idiots that frequent AOL, Yahoo!, ICQ and MSN.
Which has to be a very good thing
So, if you have an IQ above that of a strawberry and understand the concept of typing commands then you can connect to UberWorld here.
Alternativily if you can't connect or fancy something a little more graphical - and you're using a modern web-browser (IE 5.5 or greater or Firebird with pop-ups enabled) - then you could try out our webclient.
