UberWorld ICQ numbers
ICQ is probably the second best (after UberWorld - of course) way of communicating with people over the internet. It can be used with Windows, Apple Macs or Linux/Unix and allows you to send and receive messages, have real-time chat, ftp, play network games and a whole host of other features.
All you have to do is download the software, install it and then find out the User IDs of your friends. Failing that you can do an on-line search of the database for them. Once you have your friends set-up ICQ will automatically show you who is logged on and who is not.
UberWorld allows its residents to have their ICQ number displayed in their X with the use of the "icq" command and even allows them to send icq messages via the talker!
