UberWorld Clients If you use talkers or MUD's a lot then you'll find that the normal telnet client is a bit limited. Indeed, there are some out there that are very good (such as CRT) but when you need to be able to connect to multiple worlds, have aliases, triggers and macros then you need to download a client. Here are a list of the most popular clients and some details about each. If you know of a client that you'd like listed here, then please let us know at admin@uberworld.org. Tinyfugue (many platforms) [ Homepage ] Undoubtably the most powerful of all the clients out there but also the most complicated. Often found on unix boxes, this text only client has also been ported to many other operating systems. Pros:
Cons:
GMud (windows) [ Download] A very basic but popular shareware MUD client. Supports multiple worlds, macros, triggers and aliases. Pros:
Cons:
ZMud (windows) [ Homepage ] Probably the most powerful of all the windows clients out there. All the usual features plus others such as auto-mapping, built in chat and more. Pros:
Cons:
Pueblo (windows) [ Homepage ] Was, until a while ago, "king" of the clients but Chaco have stopped developing it and no-one wishes to continue. Many people still swear by it Pros:
